Serve it well chilled, preferably without much ice, to preserve its carbonation and flavour. If using ice, add only a little because it will dilute the drink.
It starts losing carbonation soon after opening. Keep it tightly sealed in the refrigerator and ideally finish it the same day.
Freezing is not recommended. Carbonated drinks expand when frozen, which can damage the container, and the drink will usually be much less fizzy after thawing.
Its refreshing flavour is commonly paired with sandwiches, pastries, savoury breads and light snacks. Because it is sweet, pairing it with desserts can make the overall meal more sugar-heavy.
It is not a substitute for water after exercise. Water should be the main choice, while longer or more intense sessions may call for an appropriate electrolyte drink; gazoz is better treated as an occasional refreshment.
The belief that fizzy drinks settle the stomach is not reliable. Carbonation can worsen bloating, burping or reflux in some people, so those with sensitive digestion may prefer to avoid it.
Both are generally processed, sweetened carbonated drinks and neither should replace water as an everyday beverage. Camlica Gazoz has a different flavour profile, while serving size and frequency matter most for regular intake.
If the variety is caffeine-free, it is unlikely to affect sleep through caffeine. However, its sweetness and carbonation may trigger reflux or stomach discomfort when consumed late in the evening.
It can be offered occasionally in a small serving, but it is not a good replacement for water as a daily drink. Frequent sweet drink intake can contribute to tooth decay and reinforce a preference for sweet beverages.
Sweet and acidic fizzy drinks can increase the risk of enamel erosion and tooth decay. Drinking water afterward may help; waiting a while before brushing is gentler on enamel than brushing immediately.
